River of Life Heritage Trail 3

Heritage Trail 3 is an element of the River of Life KL Master plan design. Along this signage directed route through the historic heart of Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown, we their unique understanding of land-art to add artistic complexity to the streetscape. Stephanie Kuen, a local artist whose passion lies in depicting the vivacious street life that makes Kuala Lumpur so unique, was the ideal choice for collaboration. During a workshop discussion led to Chinese paper cutting and how her art could translate into a sculpture that was synonymous to create Place, Identity and Gateway along the River of Life.
