Indonesia is the Largest Archipelago in the world. Indonesia’s island arcs were formed over a single “hot spot.” The Earth’s crust shifted while the hot spot stayed put, creating a line of islands that show exactly the direction the crust moved however it also created a diverse and truly unique islands of nature.

The mission of Indonesia Capital City Borneo is to conserve and rehabilitate the ‘Heart of Borneo’ through biodiversity research and an education center with a living collection of plants and animals. Rimba will enhance global thinking on the future function of a tropical urban landscape for a city in respect to the nurturing of an entire island, Borneo.
